- How long does the cooling last?
While it depends on external conditions, for similar items it’s often around 4-6 hours of effective cooling once pre-chilled.
2.Are there any special usage instructions?
1. Place the ice packs for approx. 5-8 hours in the freezer until solid;
2. Remove the frozen ice packs and place one on each side of the insulin cartridge; the small bag in the middle can be used as a medication storage area.
3. Is this cooler battery-powered?
No — it’s not battery-powered. The unit does not actively cool. It only includes a temperature sensor/display to show the internal temperature. Cooling is done using the included ice packs, not an internal battery system.
4.Is this cooler TSA-approved for travel and flights?
Yes. The cooler and the included ice packs are TSA-friendly. You can bring it through airport security as long as the ice packs are fully frozen when you go through screening. Since it’s not battery-powered and only has a temperature sensor, it meets TSA requirements for medical travel items.

After a week of use, i don't know why i haven't bought such a simple but ingenious product to date in terms of maintaining the correct temperature of insulin, especially in a hot country like the one i live in. The photos i took were on a workday from 6:30 a.m. to about 2:30 p.m. while it was sitting in the car and it still stayed cold enough. Really recommend
